Allowing an AI controlled robot in his main upload so he/she can take control over it and using it to be able to do things humans can't like revert power etc

He's got borgs to do that and if he could physically interact with things constantly there'd be no challenge and he'd be overpowered.

It wasn't "useless." Suggestions are always good. The AI frequently doesn't have a borg at round start, and it's also pretty common for borgs to be total idiots who have no idea what they'r doing.

Maybe he has one brainless borg at round start that the AI has to command every move of? Kind of like in RTS. Select the borg, tell him to go where you click, tell him to fix shit with rightclick etc. He won't be able to robust anyone, and he shouldn't be able to.

Honestly I think instead of anything like that, if you really want a "moving vehicle" for the AI to use, is to make a little robot that has a camera on it, nothing more,(this way you can check out hull breaches, track criminals, or check areas of the station that have lost camera systems) of course it would fly, so it could go through space, but give it a range before it goes haywire and proceeds to only move in one direction till it returns/dies. And to prevent this to be barely used, or be distracting, is to have little 'areas' designated to send your bot to, like the mulebots, and when it gets there, you receive a message about it and you control it from there. Good for moving it across station without avoiding doing your job. Also it would need to charge, so these little 'areas' as we mentioned could be little landing pads.

I very much like this, though to be honest I would prefer if there was a Command in the AI Tab to swap between your drone and yourself, if the Drone was a Surveillance Model (Servo Skull perhaps, wink wink nudge nudge) and could enter most places except Maintenence it would be pretty neat for when Cameras are cut, a small stunstick would accompany it and has a charging dock with the borgs.

Hm, the tape idea sounds cool, though we could also have something similar to apcs in a sense. A little box in each area on the wall that "hooks" up to the power cables in that area, and letting the little drone move around in that area, using the magnetic idea. Or just having a option in apcs that says "Allow magnetic pulse attraction" or something weird to allow drones to move through there, of course some apcs wouldn't have this, for example maintenance, and such like that.
