APC Configuration?
I would think it would be a neat skill to be able to set some advanced details on APCs.
It sucks when no one has set up the Singularity and the station is losing power. For all the APC's with switches on AUTO will begin to power down.
I think the CE or Captain (or someone else of rank) should be able to adjust the Threshold at which Auto disengages the power. (I believe it shuts down at 15% power remaining?)
In this way, You could set Lighting to power down at 30%, Environmental at 20% and Equipment at 5%, thus preserving the time that equipment remains operational in blackouts.
Either this could be set as a global threshold amongst the Equipment/Lighting/Environmental settings, or as an area group threshold such as "Giving Bridge power priority" and powering down Bar & Library instead.
This could be done at the local APC, or from a power monitoring computer. (Actually - a remote ability to adjust APCs would be perfect for CE)
