Ban reason: "for mutagening two people without reason as captain"

Why I feel I should be unbanned:

I'm going to start off that this is a rocky start for someone in suggestion as a temp admin, but I digress. This was a late night round so the server had about 6 or 7 people on it, and the HoS starts rampaging in the logs you'll see Juliet Hayter, Carlito Cruise, and Alex Cuvera swearing profusely at the HoS, being a GREAT captain I choose to let them take care of it and I drop by later, I come by later to the brig and robert polsun the original HoS was naked and in a cell, being yelled at by juliet, now I remember asking her and david if I could test out this ICLY "new hair gel" on them, looking back on the logs, david didnt say yes, but when he said "what can I help you with" I guess it just registered as a yes to me, I don't know I can't justify that one enough to make you believe it, but he starts freaking out thinking I'm "A CHANGIE" and he shoots me with a taser, luckly when the mutagen I injected him kicked in the radiation poison made him collapse and I managed to cuff him and bring him to chemistry while I made rytalin for him, the whole time he was calling me a slew of things like traitor or changeling, and I then proceeded to cure him of his defects, except the visuals like his longer hair, I uncuff him and we are fine, then I go up to robert who had just apparently assaulted 3 people, and offered to let him go if I could "inject him with mutagen" he was distracted by the other angry people and Carlito Cruise the HoP told me to do it, but just once, so I did and he turned black, and collapsed but I instantly healed him of all radiation and non looks genetic defects. All was hunky dory, then Carnwennan decides to show his face and tell me that those 2 admin helped me, and I proceeded to explain to him that It was curable and no bad symptoms out of it besides looks, and for a while we stop talking. THEN out of no where, I get job banned from each and every head class



and I begin to reiterate my previous claim and he still believed that I "mutagened people off of rumors"



and then I showed him the radio logs of people yelling at the hos this is when he stopped talking to me, and he never showed good reasoning on his MULTI JOB BAN ON ALL HEADS <<<<<
I tried to explain it to him again but he still didn't respond, and now I'm here, saying that yes I did mutagen 2 people but I ICLY had reasoning, there was no "RUMORS" or randomness involved, and I think that Carnwennan also had no reason of job banning me from all heads just because of one simple act, because compared to last round (which included everyone going to the syndie station and taking all the gear resulting in a bloody death match) there were much more bannable offenses from others and this one is trivial if even a problem at all

Unbanned. Keep in mind that injecting people with mutagen is really not acceptable behavior for a Captain, even if you fix it later. Don't do that again.

Acepie, your complaint has been dealt with. You shouldn't be bringing up your animosities in another person's post unless there's actual evidence to contribute.

Theredbee, you're jobbanned from command for not meeting the responsibilities of command.
Mutagen is not completely reversible. It messes up genomes. I'm not sure how exactly mutagen is applied, but if it behaves like every other chemical in the code, it is applied gradually. It also applies toxin damage.

"while people can get away with going to the syndicate station..." This was another incident in another round in which I was not involved. That doesn't excuse messing people's dna up for ooc reasons like "fun". If somebody wronged you in a previous round it should be brought to an admin's attention in a HELPFUL way, not used as an excuse to condone your actions.

Jobbans can't be made temporary. However, they are a lighter punishment than bans. The intention being that they will be lifted once a lesson has been learned. As soon as you can show me or any other admin that you understand that captains aren't there to derp around at the expense of their crew, it will be lifted. All you need to do is ask any online admin, link them here, and explain why you think you're responsible enough to be a captain.

I'd just like to add, if you play here you must understand that certain people scream "tator" just because they want to fuck somebody over. It's grieffing by proxy. There were NO antags in that round. If you are treating somebody as a traitor without asking enough questions about the authenticity of the claims then you are accountable just like the person shouting tator.

The logs show that the victims did not start the conflicts in question. The HoS using a taser is not a crime. Even if it were, there are other IC solutions which don't involve murdering people and removing them from the game.

I also had a statement from a player who has played here for over a year (and is in my opinion admin-grade material) in support of one of the victims.

These are the reasons behind the decision. There was a complicated conflict going on and I was busy double checking my decisions. I am not obliged to explain every decision to people in real-time and all the metafriends that decide to bitch at me because they do not agree.
