You know those N20 canisters that spawn in brig maintenance. I would like for those to be removed, it almost seems every round someone breaks into brig just to release the N20. Last time someone released it their excuse was, "They arrested me". I don't see a need in having those canisters in brig anyways. I'm just half assing this post because that is all there really is to it, just no more N20 canisters near brig. Please.

The only use for Security's N2O Gas Canisters for them I believe is making a gas chamber, but Security isn't really allowed to do that so it's rather useless.

The only use for Security's N2O Gas Canisters for them I believe is making a gas chamber, but Security isn't really allowed to do that so it's rather useless. Now I know you all split from TG a while ago, but as the wiki has it, the N2O canisters are there for Security (primarily, in fact exclusively, the Warden and HoS) to use in the Permabrig in the event of riots happening in the permabrig. There is SUPPOSED to be a connection port just outside of the permabrig for you to hook the Canister to and open that sucker up, flooding the Permabrig with non-lethal (supposedly, if done by competent and fast-acting Wardens) knockout gas. How often do I actually get the chance to USE the canisters as they were meant? Never. Last time i saw them get used was on another server completely, when a traitor outfoxed a rather...simple-minded HoS and managed to steal the Captain's ID and use deployable barriers to seal off the Armory, flood the Armory with N20, and then wrench down the UNDEPLOYED (my gosh, no Warden at the time until I showed up and the HoS SUCKED) flashers as well in the doors. Long story short, they're there for incredibly forward thinking and robust players to use to fuck with hostiles too stupid or too poorly equipped enough to avoid huffing laughing gas. Or to force hostiles to fall back to Internals.

If they are meant to stop a riot of prisoners in permabrig then shouldn't they be on the permabrig station?

If they are meant to stop a riot of prisoners in permabrig then shouldn't they be on the permabrig station? Oh, sorry, I thought you meant the TG station map. The NEW map? Well, I don't know. I again ASSUME they're there for riot suppression. As they stand, though, the appear to be a rather...glaring weakness in a rather...uhh...overly expansive Security Wing. With way too many points of easy access/intrusion. The only explanation that makes sense to me is that the N2O canisters are tucked into a back pocket of Secure Maintenence so as to prevent escaping Permabrig prisoners from getting to them in the event that they overwhelm the Permastation guards. Honestly, it's yet another thing that makes little sense to me about the new map. Who designed this map, exactly? And why did we change to this new one?

I'd be fine with the canisters being there only if there wasn't so many ways to get into security to get them.
