I was job banned for killing the AI and a crew member that wanted to be captain after I was killed.

Story on how it all started: I arrested the QM for shooting at the clown outside sec with a shotgun. Afterwards when the QM was about to be released, an assistant attacked him in the head, twice, with wire cutters. I arrested the assistant and set 5 minutes on the clock.

The assistant appealed to the AI and the AI let him go without consulting me. Afterwards in radio the assistant was being rebellious and the AI supported him. The AI claimed to have no laws which I ruled was dangerous. Because the AI was continuously being rebellious and threatened to wipe the station, I ruled that the best course was to kill him.

During the rebellion, the chemist said on radio that he wanted to become Captain after I was dead. I found him in medbay a little bit after I destroyed the AI and killed him.

Nibbles you argue that I played as a Tyrant instead of a leader when all I did was try and protect the station. If an AI let a criminal out of the brig, how is that not rebellious? He could've been malfunctioning AI, at the very least an AI with no laws is dangerous and should be taken out. I gave no idiotic orders only for the AI to obey me, as Captain of the station and he refused. I justify my actions for the station and the crew. There were more people supporting me than the AI and the assistant.

So you decided to kill several crew members because you thought they were rev's. Yet didn't think to arrest them at all. I agree that you should have killed the AI, and yes he was punished. But killing the crew because they think otherwise is just foolish. I am placing my vote on no repeal.

I didn't kill anyone but the AI. The chemist was already dead, if you mean I killed him by taking him out of cyro.

That laser shot was an accident, I was aiming for the mime who put him in there. And that just made me more scummy.

I still justify my actions as what any leader would've done. A disobeying AI and rebellious crew need to be put down.

I know I'm not supposed to be replying on this one, but you said in your first post,

Well, that line there certainly SOUNDS like a tyrant to me.

Considering the reasonable appeal here and the somewhat understandable situation (the AI released a criminal!) I would at least say this should be temporary and not permanent.

True, true, I agree with Austupaio that the appeal is better than most we receive and you seemed to know what the fuck you were doing to a degree, I will pull back the chain, instead of the ban lasting till whenever we decree you've been a good boy. Adminhelp on October 25th to have the jobban removed. If you fuck up again its going to be a perma jobban.

I must admit I sparked a revolution as the AI(and got jobbanned for it) and people were really hunting for him.

But yes, it came from simply releasing a prisoner who in my opinion was falsley brigged to a full out war. He first said I was rogue and had to follow his orders and I said I had no laws and didn't have to obey him. he threatend to card me and I clearly stated that I would turn my lasers to kill if my turrets didn't stun him. He then left and started making bombs. I then sparked together with the asisstant a rev.I was not running any laws at that time. And I think I speak for most of the station if I say we all found it an entertaing round. I am not gonna start my own apeal here. Just stating my POV.

Of course not, I completly understand that. I just wanted to state that, because I tought that someone killing 5 people outa nowhere is not entertaining, but dieing fighting a war against the AI is entertaining. Yes in both cases you died but for 4/5 people case 1 is a whole lot worse then case 2 so I tought that mayne the admins took such things in acounting for their decesion.
