Ban request on Captain Hill Arious

Description: Basically, I was the clown doing clown things, you know, trying to be funny and annoy people. I was honking around and helped my fellow mime get out of prison, Captain comes around and tries to taze me, misses, and gets the rest of security to start going after me. I go and hide in a locker for a minute to go AFK and I come back and start messing with the detective trying to fix the cell I broke. Captain then sees me and stuns me and starts to pull me into security but some random person pulls me out and takes me somewhere else to get me up. I continue to mess with the captain just saying things like, 'Captain is a condom, HONK' and general stuff like that. Shuttle gets called, security are hunting me but i'm just running around the halls, the borg asks someone to help him test if there is a fake wall into the captains office, I come over and test it, Captain is in there, big fire fight of terrible aim breaks out, a security officer comes over and gets me in one shot, Captain arrests me pulls me into security and pulls his laser when the borg comes over he changes his mind about lasering me right there. He pulls me into maintenance to take me to permabrig(which keep in mind only crimes currently are manhunt and breaking someone out, BUT I wasn't prepared for that assistant to pull me back out of brig when that happened so that made it worse). We get to permabrig captain strips me and then slips on my PDA, I sit there waiting for him to get up and he then drags me into perma to rot. Shuttle is 2 minutes away at this point, I proceed to break out of permabrig because I wanted to get on the shuttle and honk some more. Captain was still on permabrig and the officer. They stun me and the captain proceeds to laser me to death and the officer starts to harmbaton me. I get killed. Captain and officer leave permabrig and return to CentComm. Thats basically everything that happened, might have missed a few things but they weren't as important to the story.

Yeah, I was the chaplain that round so I will tell what I saw.

So I joined (mid?,start?) the round and so I started to do my chaplain stuff, It was basically a grief fest and sec looked like they didn't even cared, I saw an assistant (Chip Simons) with a flash running around with it and flashing people infront of sec, then I found a riot shield on the bathroom, then a QM tried to stun me with their gloves twice (riot shields on the back stopped it), captain calls the shuttle after someone breaks a brig window, and make some hidden doors on his office, I pushed the assistant with the flash and then I took it and died while I tried to space it (_{fukken carps}), then I ghosted how the captain stunned, arrested and permabrigged an assitant for just breaking into his office (it would be a 5 minutes in brig cell), he didnt even interrogated him and sec just rolled over it and continued to their stuff, then in perma I saw the clown bloody body on the floor with all his clothes on.

Sorry, I'm Chip Simmons, I don't really know why I flashed you guys. I do know, that the Captain was really paranoid as hell, and set me to arrest, and thus Beepsky on me for standing near the Detective. The round before, he stunned me as the clown for having insulated gloves, and breaking into the maint south of the dorms, and then proceeded to steal my gloves and tools. Admins, if you want an exact number of the amount of times I flashed people that round, It was 5 Times the Chaplain, and 3 times the Janitor, and one attempted on a QM standing in line. Sorry again, I don't know what came over me when I flashed you guys.

The only thing I did was Harm baton you, and thats because you broke out. What else were we supposed to do? Even the Captain agreed afterward. That's the only thing I did to you, But I am sure that Captain had his reasons to do what he did. Otherwise I was just following orders, Im not even sure why im in here.

Your option on an unarmed clown breaking out of your flawed permabrig is death, when said clown shouldn't even have been perma'd? Maybe if you weren't an automaton you would have thought twice before following orders from a paranoid captain. Youarrived late on the station and probably had no idea what was going on with myself and the captain. You probably heard from the captain, 'ARREST THE CLOWN, HE DID [Insert lies here]'. I was helping my fellow mime out, who ended up becoming a security officer himself, by getting him out of brig faster and the captain decided to start chasing me down with laser out and pulling beepsky for the next 7-8 minutes. Once he finally got me, I assume, you hopped on the bandwagon of permabrigging the clown for a crime that should have only been 6 or so minutes in the brig, as it seems most security want to permabrig the clown either way. By the time I was placed in permabrig, you guys were going to leave me on permabrig station without even bringing me to the shuttle and I thought, A - Sit there and do nothing for the next 6 minutes, B - Suicide, and C - Escape. I went with C because I had nothing better to do. After I almost get out, captain runs up firing lasers at, once again, an UNarmed clown, I even ran back to my cell to try and buckle myself back in, but nope, you were intent on killing me.

Along with witnesses, the borg that round could be one as he saw what really happened when I was caught by the captain, the borg wanted me to test for a fake wall into the captains office and I helped him and the captain went crazy and started to say more lies, snip of the conversation below.

So in the end I was perma'd for helping the borg test something and breaking someone out of brig which would be like 5 minutes in brig, if I wasn't put in perma for a minor crime and if I wasn't being hunted by the captain, I wouldn't have been killed and I wouldn't have broken out of perma. Honestly, Will, you wouldn't even be in this if you didn't go along with the insane captain. If I knew who the borg was that round I would have him come in but I didn't save the end results.

I went along with the insane Captain, because I didn't know he was insane. You even said yourself I came in late, I just did as I was told. I had no idea that you did something wrong or something right. Or even if the Captain was fucking insane, All I knew is that he wanted you arrested so we did that, Walked in on you trying to break out of perma, So he gave the order to kill you. I shouldn't be in this at all, You should really just talk to the Captain about it.

Ill give you that, that you didn't know he was insane, I would talk to the captain but at the end of the round you could tell he didn't like the people on the station and the people didn't like him, because he was crazy. Ill remove you from the ban request.

First, I don't think you realize how hard it is to stop a ton of people from ruining the brig when you and the detective are the only competent security.
Willman here joined later, and early in the round I had to come out and do the best I could to keep people from raiding security. I run past the brig and I see three people knocking on the detective's windows and I think "Alright, it's annoying but not illegal." I come back and the detective is on the ground, the three had busted in and ran off with whatever the hell he had.
After a while of these people being so ridiculously annoying, I had had enough and I ran out and arrested the person who I heard trying to break the mime out: the clown. I start taking the clown into the brig, but his buddy--an assistant who I'd seen off and on with him and causing trouble--pulls him away. I get the clown back and, fed up, I take him to the permabrig. He of course breaks clown character and calls me terrible, a shitty captain, etc...
I leave him there and head back to the station, where we arrest a guy for breaking into my office and using the priority announcements, then drag him to the permabrig where we see the clown breaking out. I'd warned the clown about this, so I fired a few lasers out of the window at him and then told my officer to execute him. The logic here being that if he tries to escape from the permabrig, we cannot hold him.
I put the assistant in a side room and tell him that if he knows what's good for him he'll stay put and wait for a retrieval team. The officer and I then head back to the shuttle and get the hell out. I put the assistant in the permabrig because he was a repeat offender. I realize I have terrible aim.
But yeah, the officer was just following orders. Don't give him any flak.
EDIT: I don't see anything wrong with leaving prisoners on the permabrig when the shuttle comes. You aren't obligated to take them, and with a bit of RP it's easy to imagine that you can send a team back to get them. The borg also had not seen the crime and for some reason didn't think the clown had done anything wrong.

I was never warned in anyway, shape, or form. And from my point of view, when the captains barges into permabrig firing his lasers at you, which he has been doing all shift, is to run back to your cell and basically surrender, which I did, and then you and the officer came in and killed me.

I'm pretty sure I warned you, and when someone tries to break out of perma it's pretty damn convenient to put a few lasers through the glass. I never fired a single laser at you before you were put into the permabrig, so that's a lie. I honestly didn't realize that you'd surrendered, but I was pretty set on killing you at that point.
You turned from a yelling, silly clown into an asshole who tried to say he did nothing. That's breaking character. It's not against the rules to break character, I'm just pointing it out.

The logs I have say otherwise on you warning me, and at times you chased me around with your laser gun out, I don't have proof of this but you pulled it out when you ran out of your e-gun energy/ammo. And I ran back into my cell about to buckle myself in to the bed before it gets laser'd down and then I had no way of surrendering besides that.

As well, I knew from the moment I hit enter on the first post of this ban request that it was probably going to get denied because I was acting like an asshole most of the shift. But it just sets me off that I was permabrigged over a minor crime.

I did have my laser out a few times while chasing you, but IIRC I had it out because I was trying to make room in my backpack at the same time. I wasn't using it.

I dont know if I am still allowed to talk in this ban request thread but I would like to tips for both of you:

• When you dont have space on your backpack, try to put things on the internals box, or put your E-gun on you belt slot (its better than a sec toolbelt)
• Clowns never break character when they talk shit about the cap (Capt is a condom, HONK HONK!).
• When you perma someone you put ALL of their belongs into the lockers and gives them the orange prision jumpsuit, making it almost impossible to have him breaking out of perma without an external help.
• I know that sometimes, being captain is overwhelming but you need to not lose your mind, always remember space law, make people sec officers and implant them, make someone temporal HoS, make an AI and put him in P.A.L.A.D.I.N.
• When someone (B) pull another person (A) out of sec you need to think if the person (B) who pulled the person (A) really wanted to freed him or he had another plans for that person.
• When you want to warn someone, you need to Give him a verbal warning, then a phisical one, If that person goes back and buckle himself to bed you can ask him why he did that, but if he is becoming a problem, maybe you should think about implanting him to know if he was a traitor.

Edit: looking at this list, I only gave tips to the captain...

I am against a Full ban on him, given that yobih is a good player and all, but some days people get a shitty round, it always happens, we know that he could had acted diferent from what he did, but I think a temp ban from heads would be something reasonable.
