Ban appeal: I did not 'bomb the station' as aggressively as you make it seem, I hid in the far back of the chapel with a proxy/remote signaler setup near the entrance of the chapel and warned everyone over the radio not to approach. The HoS charged on in, activated my signaler/proxy, and caused 3 of the bombs in my backpack to detonate. The reason why this was as such instead of in the bomb testing range was because the AI bolted the doors above and below the toxins mixing lab (although a QM broke me out).

In short, the AI was a shitlord who wouldnt let me experiment, so the badmin banned me as I committed suicide to avoid being taken by security.

As the HoS I found the entire scenario hilarious, the AI was subverted anyway.

I hold no hard feelings towards this guy. Considering I was the only person affected (by instadying) I figure that counts for something.

So because you were not allowed to toss bombs around in space you decided to threaten the entire station with blowing up the chapel? I mean what did you expect to happen? Everyone would stay away? Hell no. A security officer's job is to stop people who might be a harm to the station. Going mad bomber and placing a pack of explosives in a church then stating that if someone tries to get near, you'll blow them up, WOULD MAKE AN OFFICER COME TO INVESTIGATE. The entire appeal you just posted is based on the idea that, "I have explosives and if everyone doesn't bend over backwards for me, its their fault that I blow shit up." Which not only sounds self centered but also stupid.

Please take note that you did this even after having asked if it was okay to test your bombs on the main station. I told you no, and that you should be doing this on the bomb testing range, since that's what it was made for. I warned you that bombing the station is a ban-able offense. The player of the HoS might not have minded being killed by it, but it's the fact that you blatantly ignored my warning, and suggestion, and continued to bomb the main station anyways.

Anyways... yeah, it wasn't exactly me blowing up the explosives but you get the idea, it was beyond my control after i set the timer on the proxy. I wasn't wanting everyone to surrender to my every whim, I just wanted to test my bombs. Either way, I made sure to do it in a minimally invasive manner so everyone could go about their business, the outcome simply wasn't as such. I'm just here to express my position, self-centered as it may be; I had no griffin intentions lest I would have set up shop in the medbay or arrivals.

Allow me to restate my argument here, and you invariably will do the same for yourself as well although I feel that mine has a greater sense of meaning whether it be through a heightened sense of self-importance on my behalf or through the size of your ego on yours or through a random few squares on the far right side of the chapel right next to space being worth having 5 days of inactivity in the game should they be destroyed by any means.

My argument in this instance is as follows, as you have not taken the time to understand what I have said. The AI denied access to testing. The AI sent sec to arrest/kill me. The QM broke me out of the mixing lab. Seeing as I preferred death to being arrested, I relocated myself to an insignificant area of the station. I prepared to kill myself so that I could A. be granted what the AI denied me through sheer destruction of an /extremely/ insignificant area of the station, and B. not get arrested because dat AI.

I do acknowledge that you did say that, although I do not comprehend why you would give a 5 day ban just because someone denied you a sense of empowerment for not following what you dictate to the letter. In a game that I had played last night, I had destroyed the testing range and had requested permission to test in the misc research lab, upon which an admin had OK'd it as it would not cause significant damage to the station as much as, say, Arrivals or a hallway or the medbay. I am baffled as to why you would not be accepting of such measures as it is a reasonable request, especially following a precedent that was set for me by the administrator in a past game that I had played.

I do not consider what I did wrong as it had no major effect on the flow of the game. In my eyes, the reason I had been banned was because you needed to express a sense of control over the smallest details and imposing the tightest restrictions on what I can do, even as I had been denied the resources I needed to even perform my job by the AI. What I did was not griefing in my eyes as I did not intend to cause dramatic harm the station or those on it.

Bombing the station is unacceptable unless you are a traitor.
