Your Appeal: The jobban occurred yesterday, slept on it, here I am. I'd like to start by saying I stand by my actions completely. The assistant in question, Aaron something, was purposely trying to be let in to the upload. When I ordered the AI not to, he ordered it to ignore me. I brigged him for five minutes and removed his headset because he started spamming the channel after he was shot.

To note, five minutes was probably a bit much. Two or maybe three would have been more appropriate; that is probably my only regret here.

Moving on, DFD adminhelps me and we back-and-forth for 20 minutes resulting eventually in my jobban and the removal of a Goodcurity achievement.

About fifteen minutes after the exchange, Aaron admits he just wanted to purge the AI over the public radio.

To summarize, an assistant tried to enter the AI upload (a malicious action), make the AI permanently ignore my orders (a malicious action), and purge the AI (a very malicious action).

Stopping him for five minutes resulted in my permanent jobban from a department I am very good in.

Honestly, I don't expect a full removal of my jobban, but I do find a permanent one quite a bit much.

I'm probably missing out on some crucial information here, but this really doesn't sound like something you should get a jobban for. An assistant trying to get into the AI's core is something that needs to be prevented, trying to loophole the AI and giving him five minutes should either warrant nothing or just a quick message asking for more information and if you could lower the sentence.

I'll go investigate more in the meantime to try and see bits of information that I may be missing here.

No, appears your appeal doesn't contain any lies or over-exaggerated portions. The assistant was trying to get in, who also happens to be someone prone to purging the AI when possible. You arrested him, were questioned over it and then jobbanned over it. At the end though, it's up to the banning Admin, DrunkenFlyingDemoman, over whether you get unjobbanned. I am however in favour of you being unjobbanned.

Instantly arresting someone and giving them five minutes over "AI UR LAW ES LET ME IN." isn't an example of goodcurity.
