Ban Reason: Grouped with a bunch of other people, he helped them escape perma, and griefed the captain. As a none antagonist..
Your Appeal: Captain was being a dick permabrigging people and acting like a cunt. So yeah, more than half the population hated the Captain already. So when players asked me to help, I helped (maybe the Captain was a ling, who knows)

As for the griefing, I wanted off that perma-station. Captain came back to get me. I wanted to escape, but didn't want to end up in space. Hence I open the doors to ejection-shute as a last resort. I injured the Cap to stop him from attack me. Before you ban-hammered me, you should have notice me dragging his ass towards medical. I would've dragged him to cloning if needed. Didn't you notice I dragged the two bodies that Captain killed into the perma-shuttle - I was gonna clone everybody.

I've been perma-trapped by non-antags beofer with no help from admins (hence I thought this was ok)

I've been shot dead and then cloned before as well, with the killer still running around not ban-hammered (hence I thought kill and then clone would be ok).

Are the above two practices ok or not? I'm so confused.

I happened to be watching over the captain, that round, when I noticed some of this stuff started happening. The captain actually arrested an assistant, for stealing the janitor's cart. After the assistant's time was up, he ran off, of course. The captain came across the mime, and clown, breaking into...everywhere they could, I think, and didn't do anything. But what started the arresting was when he caught them in the HoP's office. The captain caught the clown, and the mime ran off. That assistatnt, that was just freed earlier, came back, and bashed the security doors, releasing the clown from the cell he was put in. Those two were caught, again, and put in perma. During the chase, to catch them again, the mime started a group up to coup the station, because he thought the captain wasn't fit, or something. So a QM, and an engineer(you), sided with them, in an attempt to capture the captain, and detain him. When you finally managed to do that, you stripped him, of course, and stuffed him in a permacell. The captain got out of that cell, by pressing a simple button to unlock the door, and escaped through the area you left open when you emagged the doors. The captain then recaptured the clown, I'm not sure if it was luck or something. After detaining the clown, the captain finally had a bit of gear, and the guns the clown had on him. That assistant, came back, to check on the clown I'm guessing, and found the captain there, with the clown on the ground, tazed. He starting shooting at the captain with laser rounds. This is where I stepped in, and had to take some sort of action against your group. The captain ended up beating that assistant, with lethal force, but still, beating him. Then he was found by you. Which ensued into a long, drawn out, battle. With you ultimately killing the captain with a heavy laser. Please tell me if any of that sounds incorrect, this is all I've gathered from watching the griefing group. don't worry, I banned a few others of your group, too.

I would like to add that you were not an antagonist of that round, a technician was, and that you had taken his emag after getting it from him, somehow. So that there is no confusion to those reading these posts.

Nope, all correct.
Captain died from injuries that I caused during that long fight (but I was going to clone him, along with the 2 other players he had killed)
If you had PM'd me, that would be the answer you would get.  I was going to clone everyone.

But, I'm still looking for clarification:
1. Is perma-trapping someone by a non-antag acceptable?
(such as sticking someone in the genetics tube and locking them in place to rot - this happened to me with no reply/help by admins)

2 Is killing someone and then cloning them immediately acceptable?
(also happened to me, non-antag was seen running around after I got cloned)

Response is incredibly late but both of those two are subjective to the situation and the admin response on it may change depending on the admin and what has happened.

This ban ended a while back, so I'm going to lock and move it.
