Basically, like what was done to tables, you should be able to damage computers and machines with aggressive intent. So you can actually bash that comms. console with a pickaxe instead of going through the hussle to find a laser gun.

I'm conflicted on this, it sounds like a great idea, however, I can see someone who doesn't want shuttle called breaking into bridge and smashing the fuck out of comms with a toolbox. I can also see this happening about ever round over and over.

Well, as far as I know if you destroy things like that it's easy to fix them - just replace the glass.
At least that's how I remember laser damage for computers.

It also sounds like unnecessary code considering that if you're doing a half-arsed method, using tools would be an easier alternative and they're not hard to acquire. |
