I know most people aim for the head because you can knock someone down. But is there any advantage for hitting limbs or body. I know if you have a screw driver you can poke someones eyes out but do any other items have any special abilities? Also what is the difference between slashing and brute damage they seem to both hurt physically but does one have any advantage over the other? Like does brute have a better chance of knocking someone down?

As far as I know, hitting the legs/arms does less damage. BUT, if you're smart, say someone has a riot shield and an ablative vest with some super-robust helmet. The only weapon you have is a laser gun/E-Gun. You might be thinking "well shit i'm fucked". But actually, if you aim for their legs and tase/shoot there, then you'll stun them for MUCH longer than you would if you had hit them in the chest or head. And from what I know, if they're holding a riot shield in one hand, it doesn't do ANYTHING against leg shots. Additionally, they'd also take more damage to their legs if you lased them there than they would if you hit them in the head or chest with their ablative vest/robust helmet. This is why the armored trenchcoat/hat is extremely robust. It offers pretty good protection against all kinds of damage. Trenchcoat covers your legs, arms, and chest. Hat covers your head. So if you have both the hat and coat, you're pretty damn resilient against damage.

Whenever I take a gun that will stun I aim for legs because role play I guess. Past that I aim for the mouth under the possibly misguided notion that it gives a chance to knock someone out with one knuckle sandwich.

If you put lexorin in a spray bottle and spray it into someone's mouth it works the same as if they were to eat it iirc. 99% of chemicals can just be sprayed on them anyways, I bet no one even know what Lexorin does because BUT CH LETHAL. Lexorin is lethal in less units, I forget how much since I last did actual testing but it's easier to do than CH for straight murder.

I think the reason people don't use this method is because most people when they use chemicals to kill they usually use streamline chemicals. Probably a mixture of sleep toxin and something nasty which slowly kills.

I hope you're joking breh, how do you even compare hitboxes when the hitbox in this game is literally a box?

I got a question I know the abaltive vest makes you highly immune to taser stuns however does this also apply to baton stuns as well?

Unsure as simply stunning them does not say where they got hit, but if you aim for the chest and it hits the chest then maybe. I know that the CE's hardsuit makes him basically immune to stuns from stun batons, he'll barely be down for a second. Dunno about stuns from tasers and such.

Do hard suits protect more of the body like the arms and legs or just the chest?

Ablative definitely reduces stun baton stun time. I don't think it matters where you get hit as long as you're wearing that OP piece of shit armor. I know I've tried it with tasers at least, I don't think batons really matter where you hit them at all.
also hardsuits protect everything but your head.
