When examining certain tools and weapons, some have Impact, others have Slash damage. What difference does it make? Both types register as Brute damage for the player.

Armors can have different resistances to impact/slash,basically meaning that slash may be more effective against someone wearing bulletproof armor.

I saw something this as well physical damages goes it piercing, blunt, and slashing other then armor/exosuit there seems to be no difference state wise. Though I used to remember a time where if you hit the head or crotch with blunt then it had a knockdown chance.

I think slashing someone makes more blood. Other than that, armor and shit bro.

I've yet to find an item without KO chance so... Toolbox probably has a pretty high one though
