The server only has 3-5 players and I cannot connect to it. It says it fails each time. This goes on for about 3 hours.
Anyone else get it and/or know how to solve it?

Probably means that server is closed and player list just freezes or these people are frozen on server and waits patheticly for it to unfreeze... idk :bsod:

This happens frequently on BYOND whenever a server crashes or is shut down and people refuse to leave.

Like Z9 said, the server is probably (by probably i mean there's a 90% chance) offline, or like what happened to Apoc (man, that was a pain in the ass to unfuck...), it may even be a DDOS...like the one they got from D2K5. Just to expand on it, i was a trial admin at the time, and we were all racing to traceroute the mo-fo's first. I guess i should warn you guys that they did this with (from what i recall...) a backdoor into the server that /tg/ has literaly made possible after a few updates. I guess you can also ask the other guys from Apoc for more info, though i suppose the new SVN has it patched up and safe.
