Ban Appeal: Using a shade to murder people

Yesterday I was playing a round as a lawyer where the chaplain asked me to make him into a shade, so I did that. Nothing signifigant really happened until later where the shade killed the mime for looting the chaplain's stuff, under his own decision. I got an admin PM and before I could explain myself I was banned for seven days.
The ban was for using the shade to murder someone but I never told him to kill the mime and actually told him to stop when I saw it.
The ban reason also had "crying otherwise" on the end. I'm not sure if that made the ban longer or not but the reason I was saying otherwise was because I didn't do it.

If the actions of a shade are the responsibility of the summoner, though, then I understand and I'll remember to keep it in mind.

I can vouch for him, I have played with graknorke before and he is a good guy, and when people become shades they assume they can kill people without punishment.
I feel we need a rule clearly stating shades cannot kill and must obey their master.
It will stop this occuring again.
However this is still up to an admin to choose what happens here.
