These aren't necessarily re-occurring characters, but more about legendary events that had occurred on the stations.
RAPE FIST A mysterious medibot that showed up one day after people had chanted his name. Sometimes he comes as a hostile, other times he comes in peace. One thing is always certain though, killing him can and will create murphyonic anomalies.
Murphyonic Anomalies These anomalies are always present, but normally they are at 45% critical levels. If you hear the alarm for a critical-level Murphyonic Anomaly, you are probably going to die. The nature of these anomalies is unknown, however one thing is for certain: Anything that can go wrong will when Murphyonic levels raise to critical.
Foosili Himmelstoss GWII (Galactic War II) veteran and former Head of Nanotrasen Security. After he had destroyed an entire station via "Let god sort em out" final solution, Nanotrasen demoted him and set him up for assassination. The crew of Planet-Cracker Delta 4 witnessed him walk out of the escape shuttle to stop the death squad that Nanotrasen sent, him and his security forces stopped them. Himmelstoss suicide bombed them in a last ditch effort, he is remembered as a terrorist, but the former crew of Planet-Cracker Delta 4 know what really happened.
Colonel Krieg A ruthless Nanotrasen Security Forces Colonel, Colonel Krieg enjoys mech-building, whiskey colas and quelling monkey rebellions. He has at least 20 clones of himself on hand incase he is dead. His paygrade is almost literally higher than anyone else Nanotrasen employs. He is seen always wearing his powered armor as well. Anyone on his bad side is generally dealt with by lethal force.
"Honkerbell" This clown allegedly killed an entire deathsquad by making them slip with a banana-peel near a hull breach, after which he stole both energy swords and sliced the fuck out of them with it. There are conflicting reports on this but this one is generally the one most people claim is true.
"Senthesiss" A sentient xenomorph on its own is generally legendary, this sentinel gave Nanotrasen most of what it knows on the species today, including the revelation of a fifth caste of xenomorph: The Matriarch, one who controls queens across the galaxy. He generally loves reading books, and while he was on "Aspie Prison 15" he stated he enjoyed the toxins lab in RD. Strangely, he only seemed to attack those who were a direct threat to him.
Slifioli's Last Stand A small room located on the mining planetoid, this is where several miners had stayed, surrounded by rabid xenomorphs for a week. They eventually died after running out of food (except for one rancid donk pocket).
Horrors Conflicting reports about "Horrors" come up all the time. Ones called the "Grifter" or the "Surgeon". These are probably just rumors as no records have been found on these subjects in the Nanotrasen archives.
Syndicate Employed: Wallinger and Marcus Two Syndicate employed scientists forced to crash land on station "Imperium System Lima Bean", after being taken into custody on the prison station managed to break out, get back to the station, steal an RCD and several stun-based weapons, call the escape shuttle, wall off the emergency shuttle, and finally leave completely by themselves. All without killing a single person. The whole time they claimed to be studying alien artifacts in the vicinity, but had engine malfunctions after being caught in a gravity well. They managed to escape back to their home station after rerouting the emergency shuttle manually. They have not been heard from on Nanotrasen channels since.

SCP-178 "Matriarch" Incident.
Two pieces of documentation are related to this incident- 1)"Last Will and Testament of Robert Schmidt" Found on the mining station in a resin-covered cave.
I am Robert Schmidt, if you're reading this then I am dead. I was part of a research team on Aspie Prison 14, a station not far from this sector, I imagine it's derelict now. Something terrible happened, we excavated what we though was a dead xenomorph - the thing was fucking MASSIVE, easily larger than any queen around. It awoke once we brought it to our medical bay when we attempted an autopsy. It instantly began slicing nearby researchers in two, we lost 7 people that day. Soon, it was cordoned off on a part of the ship, that's when it happened. People began to hear this "Matriarch" as it called itself, whispering suggestions in people's ears. Soon it got out, and I was one of the few to leave. I made it here, crashing into the nearby mining station. If anyone finds this, you need to find that "Matriarch" and kill it, this is extremely important.
2)"Research report: SCP-178 'Matriarch'" - Found on the derelict, near medical bay. After being dug up from one of our asteroids in our assigned mining oriented asteroid belt, we put the subject in our Xenobiology section of medbay. After asking NTC what to do, they wanted an autopsy followed by a full report. Well we attempted an autopsy, the thing woke up and killed Richards and six other researchers. We cordoned off the medical area but soon it seemed to create a mental influence on the crew. It added humans to its hivemind and soon enough, people were lining up to be hosts. Schmidt even volunteered, he snapped out of it right when he was.. raped by those "facehuggers", he instantly tried to steal a shuttle out of here, I think he succeded but I can't be sure. I could hear the matriarch laughing, I personally think that she had let go of his mind right when he was infected. A cruel bitch, this "Matriarch" is. At any rate, she's left me alone for now. I don't know how long I can last here, I do know that if you come across this research log, stay away from that "Matriarch" and nuke the fucking station from orbit.
This incident is largely covered up by NTC, but this "Matriarch" is the reason for most if not ALL intelligent Xenomorph Life found in this sector. The few reports that have been declassified show that several people aboard Corrugated Mining Hub 13 willingly were taken as hosts for Xeno infestation, and not only that, the "Matriarch" was found in an asteroid, dormant, 59 years ago by Robert Schmidt, it's possible that this "Matriarch" is 300+ years old, making it one of the oldest living Xeno subjects around.
New entry: Colonel Matthias Krieg killed the Matriarch with a fireaxe after it ripped apart all of central command and 6 other stations.
New entry: Four months after Krieg killed the previous Matriarch a new one was evolved from a queen on a nearby Space Station. This brings to light new information as it tells us that there can only be one Matriarch at a time and one Queen (perhaps the closest?) Will be chosen to be the new one.

Alium Monitor Sigma This station was much like any other, but the crew decided to abandon the station. Everyone banded together (including Senthesiss, who had inexplicably ended up there) to move to the Mining station in an attempt to break from the normal. Things went well for the most part, as the Mining Station assigned to Alium Monitor Sigma grew, getting a fully stocked medical bay complete with everything needed for chemistry, cryo, and genetics. Newer rooms, atmosphere, and more. Soon easily 7/8ths of the station was on the mining planetoid. However, soon an NTC inspector (Malcolm O'Reilly) showed up, and he was incredibly displeased with the state of the station which was largely under-powered and destroyed. He ordered a death squad to sweep the station and nuke what was left, Senthesiss survived, but just barely. As Sen drove the mining shuttle towards the station the nuclear device went off, flinging his craft into space. He hasn't been heard from since. Lieutenant Eamon McCormack headed the cleanup operation, taking almost all of the lives of the crew of Alium Monitor Sigma and leaving the station to explode. In a report filed by High Commander Himmelstoss it was mentioned that while the colonists had abandoned the station, the idea behind a completely independent mining station has been on NTC's mind as of late, as it would fling production forward.
This station was also unique in that it lasted more than several months, in fact it lasted 5 years and 30 weeks.

"Adrien Brody" A space god. Far exceeding his peers in terms of both power and benevolence, Adrien Brody has since grown weary with Space-God society and has since taken to observing all NTC-run space stations. Ignoring Space-God regulations by almost always directly intervening in potentially harmful events, Brodianity has since become the religious norm in almost all sectors, even as far as Earth.

The Dead[/u]
There are some characters that only appear to the dead, or, occasionally, to chaplains.
Death Lords are soulless abominations which are neither good nor evil by nature. Sometimes, they can be p cool. Other times they will demand bloodshed and suffering.
Ghost Kings are just ghosts with a little more power than average. Sometimes they take jobs as messengers for the Space Gods.
Death is, in fact, the Grim Reaper, but he's really not a bad guy. He runs an agency called Second Chances, which offers opportunities for resurrection where you'd normally be out of luck. If you personally know a higher being who you think would be willing to foot your bill, or died under extenuating circumstances, see if Death's around, and he might help you out. He used to run a resurrection agency but now he mostly just jams on his keytar and occasionally reaps a couple of particularly annoying souls.

Oh man this was ages ago, but I was there and it was the greatest round of SS13 I have ever played. I think at one point I tipped off O'Reilly about them working with Senthesiss, and escaped on the death squad's shuttle by posing as a brain dead. Damn that was an awesome round. The only downside was the genetics computer didn't actually work, aside from that it was amazing.

It was a great round. I was a deathsquadder member after dying due to a plasma leak the scientists had created.
I was also behind the mining planetoid colony round. Also as a nonadmin.

Commander Creed, and the Central Command Privacy Protection Agency (C.C.P.P.A.)
Lucius Merton Creed was born into military family. At a young age, he began combat training and rose in the ranks of military service, eventually joining in the Central Command branch of the NanoTrasen Corps. operations Privacy Protection Agency, otherwise known as the Death Squad. He climbed the ladder here as well, becoming the C.C.P.P.A. Commander. During his time in the Squad, he learned of a high-bounty criminal Xenomorph known under the alias of The Smuggler. It appeared at the time that The Smuggler had been stealing NanoTrasen resources in return for quick profits for some unknown agency. Creed, after learning of this, spent his remaining time in the C.C.P.P.A. tracking The Smuggler down. Finally, after years of searching, Spess Roost Pi fell prey to The Smuggler's actions. The Smuggler was finally taken down by Creed in the Central Command station, and remains a trophy of his since.

Now, is this for characters, events, and things that we've created on the server? Because I've got a few to add, I'm just not sure.

Shifty Joe the Barman
Widely acknowledged as the greatest barman of the millenium, Shifty Joe was best known for his signature cocktails including the Xeno Repellent and the Deathsquad. He was killed in a fight with rival barman Claus Nimdok, and the secret recipes for his legendary drinks died with him. There have been many "successors" claiming to possess the original recipes, but anyone who tasted a drink mixed by the master himself will testify that these are only pale imitations.

Ain, Bringer of Darkness "'Ain, Bringer of Darkness?' Anyone else notice that's an anagram for 'Ian?' No? Maybe I'm just being paranoid, then." ---Unknown CentCom staffer Probably just another one of those stupid things the chaplain comes up with to get people to pay attention to him. ... probably.
