Correcting ones grammar is in OOC isn't IC in OOC when what the person said is different then what the corrected sentence said. For example correcting...
"why dont i hav careal faggot?"
Correcting the person would be
"Why don't I have cereal faggot?"

Also correcting one in ooc isn't IC in OOC either.

Is not IC in OOC as the corrected sentences have different grammar and or different words in them. The meanings may be the same but it is a overall different sentence. Also no key information was revealed during this either.
Therefore there was no reason for a ban in general.

I request to be unbanned as this is not a good enough reason to ban me.

Correcting peoples English is key so that others may understand them better. Without knowing grammar and spelling you'll end up with idiots who you can't understand. Which will make both parties annoyed.

Okay, so IC in OOC is of course a really difficult rule to understand, but here are several rules of thumb that can help you in avoiding it:

1. If the information you're talking about happened in IC, it's IC in OOC.

2. If a player who is not playing/observing is able to tell what's going on in IC, it's IC in OOC.


Now let's review your OOC in the logs you offered:

1. OOC: Wp-Ninja: If people said don't attack Donkman, than I wouldn't have.

1.1. This is happening in IC, this was said over OOC. Not good;
1.2. A new player who's not even in game knows that someone attacked someone named Donkman and he wouldn't attack if people said so. Thus, he also knows that Donkman plays. Some more experienced players know the IC names of some, if not all, players. So he can choose security and arrest whoever did it, leading to metagaming. Also, since he can just ask who said that, he can conclude that the guy who tried to attack Donkman is played by you. Not good.

Next up:
2. OOC: Wp-Ninja: NO AI! Donkman will kill him!

2.1. This is happening in IC, this was said in OOC. Not good;
2.2. A new player now knows that there is an AI, some guy named Donkman and that Donkman is going to kill someone, so the aforementioned player will choose whatever job is necessary to stop him, leading to metagaming. Not good.

These 2 simple rules are basically what IC in OOC is. I guess I can understand your intent of doing this, but it at best causes drama to ensue in OOC or, at worst, call for a mob screaming MAH IMMURSION/IC IN OOC BANHE or just plainly ruin the round. But, yeah, I think the 5-day-long ban was a wee bit unreasonable, though it was coming. Probably 4 or 3 days would be enough for this, considering your intent. Anyways, I won't do anything about it until the one who banned you talks(which will probably never happen).

Could I perhaps have my ban shortened by 24 hours? Even 10 hours would be nice.
I do promise I'll never do IC in OOC again, and that I won't talk in OOC as much anymore. That way I don't get tempted to do IC in OOC.
