Some of you, I know, act stealthily and efficiently. You minimize collateral damage, and just get your objectives accomplished. I applaud you, job well done.
The rest of this message is directed at the OTHER traitors. The ones who tend to act like they have an invisible 0th objective: accumulate maximum possible body count before the round ends.
Just to be clear, server policy is that traitors are allowed to kill pretty much anyone they want to, with or without reason. I'm not commenting on that policy. What I am commenting on is the silliness of killing a bunch of people when none of them are objective targets. If your objective is to steal the station blueprints and then esacpe alive, and you are in Medbay gunning people down for shits and giggles, you are traitoring incorrectly. As a traitor, acting in a way that harms your chances of success and offers no significant gain in return would be considered poor RP, not that we really enforce that. But please consider: every illegal action you take during a round increases your chances of getting arrested by security, and being arrested includes a high likelihood of traitor gear being found in your inventory, leading to permabrigging or execution. So killing people as a traitor, unless they are a target of one of your objectives or you need to kill them to do something like steal an ID to accomplish an objective, is always a bad move. You're a lightly armed operative on a space station filled with hostiles who will gank your shit as soon as they find out who you are. You are not a one-man deathsquad, and trying to be one generally will not end well for you.
End rant. Thank you for your time.
