[For the record, I didn't pick a job. I joined before the round began. I didn't choose to be any certain job. I could well have been a chef, which I have as medium on that profile, as I could have been chief engineer, which I also have as medium on that profile. It's almost as if a person can forget they were logged onto a different account.]

It's been a week. He's not on. I log onto a different account so I can play on the facepunch server because the job ban would be over if he wasn't too lazy to set it on a time instead of just permanant. He perma bans me.

I play on a different account one week after the job ban, because if he set it to a time limit like he said he was, the job ban would be up, and he was not on at the time, so I couldn't ask to get it removed

I don't see what the problem is with me here, I think the problem lies with him.

First of all, did I ever curse at you? I have never said anything in a non-friendly manner toward you. This kind of shows how you just took the opportunity to ban me because you could.

I think the "clearly not intelligent" and "tough fuckin' luck" lines show that he's being a bit of a dick and taking things too far, banning me just because he has the power to ban me regardless of whether or not I should be banned.


I'm a positive player on the server, and I rarely do anything wrong, except make one mistake because I never used a certain game element before. You told me I'd be job banned for a week and you didn't remove it by then, so shame on you for thinking I'm the one doing something wrong here. It's your negative attitude towards the players on the server and inability to compromise that are the problem here.

I, however, am open to other admins opinions of my actions. If I went to far, I'd gladly tone it down a bit.

Note that I said AT LEAST A WEEK, and that was before you made a new account to circumvent it the first time. As Malanth said, enjoy the shit pie you made yourself.

it doesn't change the fact that the other admins said they would have banned me for a day at the most if they were originally in your shoes. And it doesn't change the fact that you are unable to actually negotiate and do your job, you'd rather just hit the ban button rather than do the job you made a commitment to do.

You act like I am doing something toxic to the server, that my presence on it is harming the player community. I think that's more true of you, from what I've experienced of how you operate as an admin. An admin's job is to improve the quality of the server, not waste their time with people who clearly aren't: griefing, hacking, spamming, or metagaming.

It's the matter of principal. You tried to avoid a ban. Twice. This will be your third, and very, very lengthy, unavoidable ban.

A matter of principal? That's funny, considering you're the one swearing at me when I am being nothing but polite with you.


And again, "a matter of principal" is something that shows you're too hasty to ban people. Matters of principal aren't based on facts, they are based on emotions. That's not how an admin is supposed to operate.

Further evidence that you just ban people because you feel like it rather than out of necessity is given by the fact that you seek me out to talk to. You must have had to go through the list of usernames to find one that had "Justin" in it, rather than watch me if I did something wrong, and taking action there. Wouldn't we both be happier if you just let well enough alone and banned me if I decided to grief, rather than ban me for enjoying a specific job in a game?

It remains that almost every other admin I've met, including the ones on this server, go by the "no harm, no foul" policy, rather than the "hold a grudge against a particular person for OVER A WEEK" policy.

I would like to see you give any evidence of me ever doing anything negative in this server other than, once, not knowing how to operate one uncommon mechanic of the game.

This could have easily been avoided if you had.
