I have only been part of the Face punch community for about half a year now and have come to realize the general stress our admins go through on a regular basis. In turn, I have come up with a solution to not only motivate but also reward our admins for all the hard work they have been doing... of course benefiting the player in some way.
This is where the idea of custom characters comes into play! An idea where a player's character receives a custom sprite (or perhaps an unlock-able "dress-up" option) with an interchangeable name to prevent meta-grudges, as a reward for donating to the Face Punch server. This could be a small donation and even a one time thing if Foos allows it.
Another idea is to have VIP members, player who achieve a different colour name for the OCC speech. This would highlight the dedicated players and would not effect the fairness of the overall game play itself.
There are other methods of donating as well, but I feel it would be best to keep it to things that don't really alter the game play itself giving paying players advantages over other free-loader players unbalancing the game making it fair and enjoyable for all those who come.
Some other suggestions without specific examples are:
~VIP jobs
~Pets
~Moderator positions
The list is endless! If anyone can come up with something better be my guest, I just feel our admins deserve the money for all their hard work and dedication over all these years! Thanks for everything guys, keep up the great work.
