I'm working on a major rework of a lot of the game's core-systems. The most important bits are pretty much done, so they will be committed soon. Just double-checking it for the umpteenth time >_>
Due to the scope of the changes, I literally can't check everything (it's already taken me a few weeks - just to test the obvious stuff). So -please please please- report any bugs/irregularities etc here, when it goes live on the server.
You will know when it's live, as there will be an entry in the changelog, in-game.
I'm particularly interested in any issues/quirks with:
>Power, SMES, APCS, Solars, etc. (These were almost completely rewritten in places).
>Server performance - these could be due to literally anything, so please try to provide as much info as possible. i.e. power being out; somebody fucking with wires; explosions; malfAI venting plasma...etc..etc.
>any other core systems failing or assploding. e.g. lighting failing to initialize (the station being perma-dark).
>shuttle timers not working correctly (both supply and emergency shuttles)
Also, if you see -any- windows using 'W' or 'Watts' for power-measurement, please let me know. Everything that has been updated will use 'W/s' or 'Watts-per-second'. There will be a few I know about but haven't updated yet (such as pacmen generators). But also many others I don't know about.

I will provide details on what to expect with the changes, within the changelog. APCs work differently, solars require some additional steps to set up, etc. So make sure you read it when the server next updates!

Power has been made stupid, even with the sing set up, power will fluctuate slightly in places, for example, in atmos, power will bounce around at whatever the highest on percentage is, like if equipment is at 30% as usual, equipment will turn on and off FOREVER

Power has been made stupid, even with the sing set up, power will fluctuate slightly in places, for example, in atmos, power will bounce around at whatever the highest on percentage is, like if equipment is at 30% as usual, equipment will turn on and off FOREVER 'Power has been made stupid' was unnecessary. What were the SMES set at? The singulo isn't connected directly to the main grid normally, so actual power supply to that apc would depend on the SMES settings. Thanks

I like the new APC customisatons, I still hate the Solars. I'll watch out for any bugs or errors.
Edit: Apparently as Tinfoil said, Atmos can be a bit wonky with charging. Also, my ping has improved by 0.10 since the update, praise be Carn.

ugh...ok in short: the ping improvements were due to fps being set much lower, but it caused 'lag-running' (not actually due to lag, but the way movement code and byond result in client keypresses being queued up). So I think that's being set back to how it was.
The problem with atmosias APC is that it has a lot of high-consumption equipment. the demand is simply outweighing the supply from the SMES units. Setting the SMES unit outputs high enough will rectify the problem for now.
I'm going to work on a few more power related things that need to be updated and/or fixed. If I can't iron out the kinks by then, I will revert some of new the APC code.

So I think that's being set back to how it was. The Frame that round was set by Foos, there was no lag running and it was easily the smoothest ping I've ever had on any server. Edit: Weapon Rechargers are broken, it's impossible to actually insert a taser (have not tested any other types, but i'm assuming this means eguns are fucked too). Learnt this the hard way too, rip traitor me.

The Lobby tab in the top right is broken. It doesn't show how many players are ready and the time to start freezes.

Atmospheric Coolers do not appear to be working, claims that it is not receiving any gas and fails to cool down the cyropods.

atmos is a bit fucked, for some reason plasma output isn't working: As you can see, the plasma outlet valve is open as fuck, but there is no plasma in the piping.

Thanks again guys. The code has been updated to fix all these reported issues (except the playersReady one, compiling that one to test it now, so it'll be ready shortly).
So next time the server updates, this should all be fixed

Oh yeah. I heard someone say something about the Radiation collectors, that they run out of plasma within 30-45 minutes. And that the SMES drain too fast making Engineering be the first without power.

An issue i found with the solars is that the northern eastern set do not seem to work even when wired. I was only able to get some of them requized by the computer after i had removed the solars and reapplied them. (aka removing the glass and unwrenching them just to rewrench them)i didn't see if this worked on all of the solars on that set just because the thing was to time consuming.

Guys, you need to provide more information with your bug-reports if you want them fixed. Half of finding the problem is deducing where the problem is likely to be occuring and then looking there. If I have no info at all, I have to test for hours and hours, restarting daemon over and over on a netbook, just in the hopes I happen to stumble across some problem that you've reported.
Please provide info like SMES settings, if the singulo was online, if solars were set up...etc.
