A "gravity generator" is a load of shit in the first place. On a real station if you want to create artificial gravity you just spin it, like Ender's Game. Which is how I always imagined the station, only it doesn't make a whole lot of sense with the shape and all.
So anyways, if this would be a real thing you should just suspend all disbelief and call it magic bullshit.
Edit: on the other hand, how the fuck would you explain any of this without just saying "magic" basically. Maybe blue space bull shit I dunno.

Well, assuming you're not joking, gravitational attraction can be averaged using the center of mass. This generalization is why naturally-formed massive objects (such as planets) tend to be rather spherical, and not planar like the station. The only way I can see a gravity generator actually working outside the science-fiction world is if a superdense object was made more dense through magnetic attraction, and even then it would have to be very large, and this is before considering the distance from the station to cause a flat surface to have roughly the same attraction throughout (although this really doesn't matter since z-level warping is random). Or you can toss this up to the spess gods, which has been and is the case, and what I would recommend continuing to do. |

Yeah last round I played I took 2 lethal shotguns rounds TO THE FACE, and shrugged it off. I still got rekt later but yeah. Wasn't even wearing a helmet.

Well I WAS wearing the Armored Coat, maybe he hit my chest once or so.
I'm pretty sure it's 50 brute damage though, which still would have crit me. So he musta hit my chest then. Still that's ridiculous.

One round, I was a traitor janitor, and was doing good, but I let my guard down to a lawyer. He pulled a stun baton on me and smashed my face in, a good ten hits in, I get up and I shoot around him with my bad aim and run off and go heal. Come back later and kill him. Was wearing armoured trenchcoat and captains helmet.

Edited now to correct myself, even with a nice helmet and all you wouldn't just shrug off getting your shit beaten in by a stun baton being swinged by a pissed off lawyer of THE LAW who is doing JUSTICE. But I have an idea of what to do the next time I stun a guy in an armored trenchcoat w/ capt's helm if I don't happen to have a fucking laser cannon on hand. |

With the Armored Trenchcoat/Coat you also just shrug off slipping. Or maybe you still slip and it lasts like .1 seconds or some shit. I dunno I always have bad ping.
If all you really have is a stun baton then beating the SHIT out of them should kill them before they get up/your baton runs out of power. It might take a full baton though and they have PLENTY of time to type "HELP FAG GRIFF ME"
